AVATAR history

In 2154, the mining company GDR is Pandora, a lush, from the moon to the planet Earth Polyphemus. Parker Selfridge (Giovanni Ribisi) heads of mining, and employs former Marines for security. The company intends to exploit the reserves of a mineral called Pandora unobtanium valuable. Pandora is inhabited by Na'vi, a species with blue skin Neolithic Sapient humanoids with feline characteristics. Physically stronger and taller than humans, Na'vi live in harmony with nature, the worship of a mother goddess called Eywa.
Humans can not survive exposure to the atmosphere of worms for very long and the use of oxygen masks. In an attempt to improve relations with the natives, the scientists to create hybrid human-Na'vi called avatars, controlled by genetically matched human operators. Scientists have also lead to Na'vi schools to learn English and to interact with humans. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paraplegic former Marine, became a last minute replacement for his twin brother, a scientist recently murdered trained to be an operator avatar. Dr. Grace Augustine (Sigourney Weaver), the program leader Avatar, Sully finds an inappropriate replacement for his brother, and relegate him to a role of bodyguard.
Jake Augustine escorts and biologist Norm Spellman (Joel David Moore) on an exploratory mission in their avatar forms to contact the Na'vi, to help establish diplomatic relations to solve the problems of resources and to terminate the constant threat of violence. The group is attacked by a large predator, and Jake is separated and lost. Trying to survive the night in the jungles of Pandora, he is saved by Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), a female Na'vi. Jake brings Neytiri Hometree, which is inhabited by the clan Neytiri the Omaticaya. Mo'at (CCH Pounder), the shaman and the mother Na'vi Neytiri shows an interest in the warrior "Dream Walker" (their term for avatars), and instructs his daughter to Jake teach their ways. Colonel Quaritch Miles (Stephen Lang), head of security forces to the GDR, Jake promised his "true legs" back in exchange for information about Aboriginal people and what it will take for them to abandon Hometree, which is rooted a large deposit of unobtanium ......
