Binkley Toys

Binkley ToysHalifax Scam?

Hey just a warning to those banks or stores with Halifax, I received an e-mail asking me to re-check my information. When you click on the link you get a page with very persuasive Halifax working links to all pages of Halifax security, etc. However, I noticed that the address line up was bad, it started Binkley with Toys? Who seem to be based in New York USA.

I had a false credit card charge a few years ago on my Halifax credit card if someone has a client list, somewhere.

Anyway, I sent the e-mail security Halifax so I hope they can find.

Has anyone had this problem?

I get these all the time many scams with most high street banks asking me to verify my details .... I hope that most people are as smart as you were and to inform their bank .. I am always amazed when people provide info ... It never occurs to them that if their own bank does not know the details and requirements for checking .... they are not worth investing in. .....

No, but thanks for the warning im with Halifax and I opened the e-mail if you hadnt warned me. cheers

Howard Brown Why do such a thing?

and duh, you've probably never click on an email from "your bank?!
Sometimes you can tell because it isn't the "link" words is that part-mail all in bloom, sometimes the link is displayed in the status bar at the bottom of the screen when you hold the mouse without click on - but many times you just gotta remember, the bank will not ask you for it.
