Cat Stuffed Animals Why does my cat eat stuffed animals? My cat (female Tonkinese) is about 2 years, but had the habit of carrying around some stuffed animals. It is selective. My cat other women not to play with stuffed animals. It will look with the stuffed animal and she gets very excited when I pick it up. When not playing with the stuffed animal I usually (90%) of time to find the side or in the water dish. Sometimes she will put to bed. Typcially it takes the tail of the animal from hunting instinct First () and then usually the front leg. I can not be sure if it is actually to eat the stuffing or not. This happened for almost two years. Any thoughts? My cat does that too ... Maybe if you feed her enough real food, it wouldnt take the time to eat your stuff! lol she likes hunting ... Is it a cat outside? otherwise, it is to attribute to the chase Lol is putting it in the water bowl and food bowl, it is to give it to you when you give him his food. My cats do all the time put their toys in the bowl for me and my husband, we always say thank you. My male cat is around and plays babys look too. Some animals, not just the cats are jealous for some reason and decided to go for stuffed animals. When my daughter was there, my 4 year old dog does the same thing. He also likes to mark his territory on his favorite stuffed animals. they just want to play Perhaps the cat takes to kill other animals and eat their meat inside. Tater Tot My cat plays full-on look. I can throw his "baby" everywhere and it will retrieve it and drop it on my lap. He also "washes" the baby in her fountian water. I do not think anyone will know why our cats do this, but I know it's hunting behavior. Even when I'm not throwing the baby out, he goes into the room and the rod, just to run him and throw him into the air and make it move. Keep your pets OUT OF THE FLOOR Hmm ... no! Perhaps it is delayed. Posted on April 22, 2010.
