Children's Pedal Cars

Children's Pedal CarsIs it safe to hose down (wash) Power Wheels kids? ?

I was washing a child's Power Wheels (one of these electric cars where children can just press the pedal), because he was severely dirty (was sitting in the garage for over a decade) and I'm saving time in all irrigation and soaking it with water. I took the batteries out before washing and I thought as I let it dry completely before putting the batteries in, it'll be okay. I sprayed the hose top and bottom (turning the car over). Then I thought (afterwards) and if the water dried leaves residue on the switchboard? I'm not even sure if there is an electrical panel anywhere, but probably a little because it has buttons for speed. Has anyone washed their children's Power Wheels like that? If this is okay as long as I let it dry completely? Thank you.

We have no garage, so when it rains outside our headquarters and was fine for the last 3 years. But, of course, always make sure that the battery is dry.

I have one it should be fine! Just do not spray too hard did you see the son. Also, if you dip below with 409, let rest a little, then wash it, and it will really clean. Hope this helps.

Yeah it should be fine. I know young people to leave them outside in the rain, snow. their constituency in the puddles. Did you put the battery back to see if it will start? But so long as the batteries are out of the way and it may be left alone compartment, things should be fine.
