Writing while "in the flow" of inspiration is a delicious and very personal, and exhilarating experience. It seems you can not type a strong enough to express your opinion on the page!
And as the masters of the Renaissance, you create a beautiful masterpiece mental nuances of painting with passion here and there with mysterious shadows each additional word, phrase, sentence and paragraph.
The mental high is intoxicating. You celebrate this adventure and when you're finished, marvel at your creative writing.
But how do you create and capture inspiration as a writer in these times of limited or no inspiration?
Here's how I do ...
Increase awareness
Some people go about their days and nights on the autopilot. For them, they feel like they've seen it so many times that nothing new or exciting. But is this really the case?
Give me a moment.
If next year does not make you aware of some previously "hidden" things in your life, you do recall a long forgotten experience, place, or person, or immediately crystallize a new idea to write about, do not waste your time reading the rest of the article.
An exercise for SUPER-AWARENESS
What follows is an exercise that I make to improve the visibility and inspiration magic show writer instantly!
1. First, relax. Slow down your breathing.
Close your eyes for at least 10 seconds.
Now open your eyes and look around you and stop at the first object you want. It could be something that you never noticed before. Or perhaps a neglected aspect of the object you've seen all day. It could even be a hint of movement you catch in your peripheral vision.
Imagine that you just pressed the "pause" button on your mind control eye / distance and "Freeze Framed" of your image in your mind.
Once you have imagined the frozen frame, close your eyes and see if you can still see the "images" that you just created.
If you can not follow the above steps again.
If you can still see, then go to step 2.
2. Make a "Matrix style still Pan" (ie imagine your display "more", then floating around her to get a 360 degrees.)
Describe what you see.
Describe what you feel.
Describe what you think happened before your image.
Describe what you think will happen.
For most people, the exercise above shows that our daily lives are filled with hidden details, images, feelings, imagination, anticipation, and predictions.
It is the material that inspiration as a writer is made of ...
A simple and rapid
I'm at my laptop writing this article right now.
To relax, I think the last time I felt totally content and serene. It was last Sunday (the only day of the week that I did not teach English). I wandered about my apartment, relishing the opportunity to watch television with my girlfriend.
No lesson plans to prepare. No homework to quality. No attendance or test scores recorded. work clothes next week have been laundered and ironed. It was a respite from my busy schedule all normal, just some soft, unhurried time for us to enjoy the company of others.
