Kettler Germany

Kettler GermanyI found a nice comfort bike, Kettler Pulse Trivoli but he says he weighs 62 lbs. It seems really heavy.?

Is this a typo. It has an aluminum alloy body. I can not believe she weighs as much. I rode one in Germany, the same model, evening six days, 175 miles and I loved the bike. I had no idea it weighed that much and I want to buy one here. help

Maybe kilos instead of pounds. I bought one from craigslist this spring for my girlfriend and it is really a pretty decent cruiser. It's heavy, but not terrible. I have not weighed but I think it's about 37 pounds. I think the steel on this bike is the handlebar and seatpost suspension. The post, seat, bars, stem and fork are pretty heavy, but for a bike like that there is no need to swap them with lighter parts. I'm sure the frame is a clunker but hey .... it's cheap. The rack and kickstand add weight, too. Everything else is low-end parts, but decent and the bike works well when installed and adjusted properly. He is tied with bikes like Trek, Giant and Specialized. Certainly much better than the average Walmart bike.

Target and Toys R Us have been hold in the U.S. (according to my google searches when I was investigating the motorcycle). There were some online retailers as well.

Saying that there should be a lack of feeling because I have a bike from Wal Mart and it weighs only 46.1 kg which is the heaviest bike I've seen or bought

I looked at a picture of one he has a basket and a front suspension and the chassis looks very robust, it would not surprise me if it was that heavy.

This may be the shipping weight, but it still seems very heavy.
