Kiddie Pool With Slide

Kiddie Pool With SlideYour child (2 years) do .. My 2 year old daughter, terrified by the actions of slip and slide in the pool?

My twins turned 2 a few weeks back, so we threw them a pool game and they had a slip n slide. His twin brother has been forced from him, and 2, the granddaughter of the neighboring years. They loved the kiddie pool and slide, but my daughter screamed and resisted and kicked like a little horse every time someone tried to take him close. Good .. then last Saturday, she spent the night with a family friend and the friend has an above ground pool, my daughter in the pool with no problems, no worries, or What I did something wrong? Why did she do? Water in epool e was clean, room temperature, not depth?

When I was a little child like your daughter, I too was afraid of water. (I do not remember well now, but my mother is ready to repeat the whole story every time I ask him. By the way my mother is a doc). What my mother took me out of fear was simple. She filled the bathtub with water in part, not much to scare me, no closed valve. She took me in his arms, we no just sitting there. Slowly, as I adapted to it, she let the rising water level, down to my feet. No problem. Then she, after a while let the rising water level again until it coverd my legs. Because I was on his knees, I felt strong n do not make noise. Thus, in this way, slowly (and I mean a few days), it helped me to overcome this problem. Maybe your friend took her in his arms n then in the water with her safely on her knees, or something, or maybe after seeing his bro n cousins all paly in water there few days, it automatically AHD overcome his fear.
What I know, when a child shows a fear of something, this is not a tanturm humor, his real fear.

no child has ever been my fear of it. Perhaps your child must get used to the water first.

It looks like she has problems of temperament. If it happens again go for help, if not cool. Maybe it was a bad day.

We can all understand, I'm sure that even you can.

Sometimes when your angry you do not want to eat or talk to people right? But the next day your property and you eat and talk to people. It's all natural ...

Slip and slides are very dangerous! Your child is very wise to be afraid of them when I was 8, I slipped into a mole and had pushed up just below a small rock and jagged cut my knee open, the bones, I had 27stitches, 8 years on my knee and could not walk for three weeks. A true story, I am very afraid of them!

Children are curious, my niece does step down by the pool with my mother, but will put on a lifejacket and go and where it can grow in the ocean (with an adult )..... I do not understand

my little 2 year old daughter loves the pool and slide in the slide, but if there is a bug, even an ant in the pool she used to be in. Shes not afraid of bugs otherwise

Somtimes children are afraid of things they werent before, my 4 year old daughter went into the old basin grandparents all the time last summer and this summer they're all scared of him until I slowly brought her back in it, children are children

I think that fear comes and goes. My son, 3 this week, used to be afraid, but not anymore.

Not that you did something wrong, she just wanted to be in charge of his body and slip-slide made her feel unstable until it feels secure and control its probably will not go on because she is afraid of falling

Atmosphere is a factor of safety of small children. My own twins have done similar things, what we love the other rejects. They rely. Regarding the fear of a certain object, the only thing you can do is back off and not force the issue. At this age, a slow start is sometimes useful, for example, give a small plastic cup to fill and empty the water, so she is in control of the water, she seems so scared. W
