Kids Helmets

Kids HelmetsWho agrees that there should be one law for bicycle helmets for children and adults?

Most children used to wear them over a certain age because they feel stupid or nurdy. Not caring that the cycle helmet could save their life difficult to compel a child to keep a helmet on once they are over a certain age.

If this were the law, they would all (and most would).

Half of the accidents wouldnt be so bad if a helmet is worn.

Not sure how that would work as a law, fined the parents I suppose, to confiscate the bike .. lol.

Any ideas on this?

I agree. Let's start a petition.

hmmm, I thought it was an MD-law even if one of these people will simply reinforce - if you ride your bike in the street, you need a helmet. My daughter is 4 and pedals slower than Moses and she always has his headphones.

If parents teach the importance of this and apply it, then the cops would not be embarrassed to bring up our children for us. Parents can confiscate the bikes just as easily and need not cost other people tax dollars. I do not think it is unreasonable for parents to be aware of where their children are and what they do.

In this case, the children are right - over a Certan Helmuts age-are-stupid and cheesy.

MYOB!

KS --- 18 and below have to wear a helmet. Adults are free to choose whether they want their brains splattered all over the pavement or not. Great eh?

I do not know where you live in Canada, but it is a law that everyone get rid of a bicycle must wear a helmet .. the fine varies between cities based on bi-laws. In the city I live in the fine is $ 150 if taken without your helmet. Police have zero tolerance so people here allways wear helmets.
