Lightsaber Duels The appearance in Star Wars Lightsabers The Movies - Lore and loss A brief history of major Jedi and Sith lightsabers, their appearance and how they were lost. Darth Maul Darth Maul appears as the mysterious henchman throughout Sith Lord, and urges Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi on several occasions. It is the only Jedi or Sith, before or since to be seen with the mortal sword dual, which turns out to be as such at the epic battle on Naboo. During the fight, half of the double lightsaber is off, and like Obi Wan fight to survive, is finally able to send Darth Maul with him and his lightsaber dual disappearing into the depths. Obi Wan Kenobi Obi Wan Kenobi is multiple swords throughout the trilogy so early. Like Darth Maul and his lightsaber, Obi Wan is lost in a deep well in the final struggle. Only after getting sword Qui-Gon that he is able to complete Darth Maul. Neither blade is reviewed. For Episode III, Obi Wan Kenobi is a lightsaber is new featured throughout the fight with Count Dooku, again against General Grievous and Anakin finally cons. This sword is located not even be seen again until Ben Kenobi is on Tatooine, where he disarms a thug in the cantina at Mos Eisley, and finally met his end against Darth Vader on the Death Star. It does not indicate what happens to the weapon Kenobi, but it is assumed that his former pupil kept or eliminated, and it is never seen again. / Anakin Skywalker Darth Vader Speaking of Anakin from Episode III, his sword is taken from him at the end of the fight against Obi Wan Kenobi. Obi Wan saves this lightsaber, possibly give it to Luke Skywalker in Episode IV. Presumably, when Anakin is transformed into Darth Vader at the end of Episode III, he gave most of his new black, red-bladed lightsaber that he uses throughout Episodes IV, V and VI to send Kenobi, Luke dismember, and lost when he duels with Luke again aboard the second Death Star, dismembered, in turn by Luke. Darth Vader's lightsaber fell from the platform, they fight to never be revised (and presumably when the explosion destroyed the Death Star). Luke Skywalker Luke's lightsaber, through Anakin in Episode III, serves him well in Episode V against the Wampa on Hoth and is permanently lost (as are both in Star Wars), a high level in the City Cloud when he cut his hand by Darth Vader. Luke built a lightsaber between new episodes V and VI (the green one instead of blue), which he uses to clear a path from the Sarlacc in Episode VI and uses in his final battle against Darth Vader Emperor. When the Emperor told him to finish Vader, Luke throws his sword down on the platform, but do not recover. Count Dooku lightsaber handle single Count Dooku made his first appearance in Episode II as he takes on Obi Wan, Anakin and Yoda, and finally again in Episode III Obi Wan and Anakin cons, and eventually used against him his death at the hands of Anakin. It is probably lost during their escape from the ship they are on board. Yoda Yoda comes to show his mastery of the Force in Episode II Count Dooku and cons again in front of Episode III Darth Sidious. Its blade is green and much shorter than the other Jedi weapons, but packs the same punch. It is lost on Coruscant during the battle with the Emperor, and we never see him again with Yoda in Episodes V and VI. Mace Windu Mace Windu lightsaber from single color purple is used for high efficiency in the arena on Geonosis in Episode II and cons Darth Sidious in Episode III. He was disarmed by Anakin and Windu saber disappears at alf. Posted on April 8, 2010.
