Manhunt 2 WiiPreview Manhunt 2 on Wii

Banned in different places, the original Manhunt was a game that was well known for its violence. The original game was thought to have contributed to a number of murders that were committed after his release. Thus, the development of Manhunt 2 had a task on their hands to ensure that the game has been adapted to its target audience. So is the Wii version of the game really Tamer than its predecessor? With Manhunt 2 release date just around the corner, we reveal more in our preview of Manhunt 2.

Title: Manhunt 2 for Nintendo Wii
Release Date UK: February 1, 2008
Publisher: Rockstar Games
Note: TBA

Why Manhunt 2 has calmed down

It is true that Manhunt 2 has been calmed by its developers. To get the game accepted, they need to ensure that it can be considered too violent and above. So to do this, the scenes of murder have been mitigated.

Now, you can not see all the details of what happens to your enemies. This will no doubt be frustrating for many people who love nothing more than to see the blood and suffering that their enemies go. But should it be adopted for implementation, so it was essential for developers to make Manhunt 2 on Nintendo Wii a little less gore. This means that in the Nintendo Wii in particular, you can not see the blood as much as you can in the original version of the game

However, even if it was down a bit, it does not mean that the game is a walk in the park. " In America, some stores have always banned the game, although according to estimates, it is perfectly acceptable to be sold. So the fact that he has always been prohibited in some places shows that it is still very graphic and gruesome to play.

The story behind the game is a prisoner escapes from asylum with a mate and he begins to have flashbacks about how he has where he is. He recalls an experience he has been part and the game follows Danny as he aims to discover the truth and leaves nothing in its way.

The game is filled with blood, sex and bad language. The graphics are also very realistic with each new place we discovered looking increasingly sinister as you go. The game certainly has a very dark feel to it and comes with an "M" warning.

The only real problem with the game you will notice is that it tends to be slight pauses throughout when the Wii needs to access the disk. It is not too sensitive, however, and the game is still playable despite it. You'll also notice that on some points, you'll be on the edge of your seat with anxiety as you try to prevent you from being killed. You never know where your enemies are and which adds to the tension of the game.

On the whole Manhunt 2 on Wii is a little more toned down than the first version, especially on the Wii. Extremely violent scenes are blurred in making it almost impossible to understand what is happening. However, although it is still brown and black and Manhunt fans are sure to love it anyway.
