Model Soldiers

Model Soldiersmodel soldiers?

iv just bought some model soldiers what kind of paint should I use the paint I use for the moment the paint is flaking off guard (acrylic) and iv soldiers washed in water Soupy Thanks

What kind of miniature figures are they?

- Polyethylene: plastic flexible articulated. As a fairly cheap, with 72 soldiers and 1:35. If so, degreased before painting and the first with an oil painting in office before attempting to use the acrylic on them. Use the scale modeling acrylic (as GW and Vallejo) if you do.
- Polystyrene: hard plastic like plastic models. Also the grease (washing with soap and water). Then, it is preferable to them first, but you do not need. Acrylics should take immediately.
- In white metal: the first with a primer suitable for metal. Then use acrylic on them. You can clean them with soap and water just to remove any grease from your fingers.

You can also use enamel paints scale modeling for them, but since they are oil based they (and thinner) are less safe for use in confined spaces. Advantage of these adhesion layer is thinner and Beter. Furthermore, more opaque than acrylic.

MiniMaker it covered!

Always wash the parts of the model washing with mild soap and warm water and air dry. First I All figures, and I was using enamel paints for 30 years.

I played with acrylics in the past years and found that they require a perfect mix, and work perfectly.

Good luck and enjoy the Hobby
