Are nitro RC toys worth? Hello ... I thought from the passion to build and possibly nitro rc toy racing. My questions are: Is it worth the time and money? If yes, do I take a plane or a car?
Thank you
It depends on what your interests are broad. I'm studying to become an engineer, and love working with my hands to build things better and better. I got into R / C and it was right up my alley. I love it! In my opinion, the electric versions may be easier to maintain and run, but their nitro counterparts may be too if you learn to adjust, so they always need to be re-listening.
A good idea is to see if there is a local offroad track r c / near you. if it exists, see if they have a class slash. This class is the set of skills that you need to stock the truck race in it. This is an entry level of Nice. If they do, or if you just want to get around and have fun at home, skateparks, etc. Traxxas slash is a great first truck.

This combo comes here with everything you need to start having fun at $ 275! It comes with the truck, radio, engine electronics, battery, charger, and even AA batteries for the radio. Leisure and tower still has 10% -30% discount or free shipping on orders over $ 100.

own thing with this truck that you can not do with nitro is that it is 100% waterproof. I mean, you can drop in a pool and a disc around on the bottom. He also will not cost you a cent more than the day you get (excluding the replacement of AA batteries). It's much nicer than the $ 30 gallon of nitro fuel engine maintenance constant.
This is a wonderful truck for the value, and tons of fun. And if you end up not liking, it normally sells between $ 100 and $ 150 depending on the state of it.
not .... they are fun for a little trick, but then you're bored and you've already spent a ton of money on the nitro
Nitro worth it if you want to spend as much time adjusting your car as you do driving it. Unless you buy a high enough quality (and expensive) engine, the setting will be a challenge. It's a learning curve for us all, hehe.
If you plan to planes, however, it seems much easier to adjust the engine, since you can play with needles and play with him without having to make a pass to make sure you're right.
Nitro is difficult, but rewarding.
If what you want is speed and power, however, stick to electricity. brushless electric motors and lithium polymer batteries have both come to age and to provide unprecedented amounts of power to the fans like us, and require virtually no tuning to get the maximum speed (even tinker with the transmission, in so far as cars go, is required for all).
