Playset Kits

Playset KitsLess expensive to build a whole game on your own, you can buy a starter kit, or just buy everything and do with it?

I have nine cousins (girls), a boy is expected in August, staying overnight with my husband and me on every 8 weeks or more. When we use to live there was a swing that was left by previous owners, they all loved to play. I want to bring one for our new home, but I'm not sure how to get the best return on investment. I found a couple at Wal-Mart that are reasonable, and they have almost all the girls want. They are $ 399 - $ 599. My question is, would it be cheaper to buy one of them and do with it, or is it better to buy a starter kit like Home Depot / Lowes, or just buy the wood and begin his construction as I want to purchase the equipment from Home Depot / Lowes? I thought if I did this it could be for all of their birthdays this year, I made a room in our house for them at Christmas two years ago and they loved it.

It depends on how the construction of your time, it is worth and if you have the tools to do so. You'll still need to buy wood with a starter kit. Some kits come with drill bits and hole gauges.
It depends on your skill and if you have time to do it and if you have an assistant.

Certainly, I would start with that again, as they seem to have agreed.

A part of the problem is the children's growth and evolution in that they could receive more, or at least be OK with, your budget constraints. No offense, but there are often playgorunds public park that could help a change of scenery and things.

To build one, the craft that is safe, convenient and would probably cost you more, including the equity drive. To buy starters, you should probably know if they can be added in the components offered.

Again, no offense, not Overthink what a child can enjoy. You can embellish, even a simple game swing with multiple swings, a seesaw, a slide, a facbricate it gradually through what is most important, THEIR enjoyment.

This may be a bit like building a house for a family of 3, then at some point to find more family is on the road.

Just my two "sense"

Since you seem to be quite useful, I'd say a starter kit. And finding someone to help with construction.

Good luck and have fun!

I received a kit for $ 600 BJs Wholesale and added to it to make it more solid and secure. For the money, if I had to do it again I would build a portal from scratch and add to that, but anyway you'll probably not spend <$ 500 for something you feel safe with and has swings and a slide and a period of 10 years.
