"So you thinking about getting a RC truck?" Not until you read this!

1 You'll have to decide what type of RC truck.

Electric RC Trucks come - - Nitro petrol versions, and the pleasure you have is priceless. RC trucks are impressive and most come with large wheels and 4 wheel drive Chunky, dampers and more.

rc electric trucks are RTR (ready to run) and just recharge the batteries and go!

They can be used inside or outside, the trucks are far off-road and can go on the rocks, mud, woods, parks and grass. Also performing well on the road and can be run with other RC trucks with electric models, there is little noise and maintenance is much lower than Nitro.
Speeds of 30 mph or more, if modified and a jumping stunts they are great fun, but be sure not to drive your truck if all the water because it fry your electrical or servo!

I recommend covering the wires exposed and son with electrical tape and good advice is to use a normal ball and cover the receiver power to seal water it. Also make sure the screws are tight and you can also use clear silicone to seal the lid of the box lid and gaps.

Cleaning after each race truck rc is essential and a good tool to get all the little places is to use a toothbrush, make sure to remove all dirt, mud, etc off and do a visual check around. Do not forget to check batteries in the controller are fresh or fully charged or you may lose control over the truck or worse to head to a lake or something to break and cause damage ..

So, I strongly suggest you start with rechargeable batteries, as it will cost you much money because they tend not to last too long and as you know good batteries are not cheap. Also, you'll always know the batteries are full and fresh.

There are two main types of electric motors, brushed and brushless.

With a brushed motor there are small contact brushes inside the motor that spins and are common on toy trucks rank, some can have replaceable brushes that can be mounted and cleaning is necessary as dust and debris accumulates inside.

brushless motors are increasingly popular now that there are more advantages because there are no brushes, so it is much less friction and therefore produces less heat, so you can go more of your current vehicle and more importantly, it will be faster! Yes as a brushless motor can take more voltage than a sort of brushed speed and performance is much better and your less likely to burn the engine overheated. Brushless is much worth the little extra money and your backup in the long term. Rc electric trucks are best for beginners and children to begin with.

Nitro RC Trucks
Nitro Trucks are powered by a special nitro fuel that can be easily bought in a hobby shop or online and it's worth the extra effort. With nitro models there is a lot more maintenance like checking the tires, air filter and vacuum nitro fuel in the tank, do not make or invest the extra time needed can destroy the engine.

NEW Like a normal car you have to turn the engine slowly and this is the same for any new nitro radio controlled vehicle, so be sure to read the instructions well or research models that this can get nitro expensive if you just made and blast it around and blow the engine in place. But hey I say Nitro RC Trucks are fast, noisy and can keep supplies up and down.
Nitro RC Trucks can reach speeds of 70 mph, and others come to the full specification as 2 speed, 4 wheel drive hard alloy shocks and shells cold body.

Because fuel and speed nitro trucks are not for children under 14 years. This is a great hobby and if you speed then nitro is t.
