Riva BoatsDo wooden speed boats you see in the Italian lakes ....?

The peak is only a model, but you get the Jist

It is a model of an old Riva Aquarama, probably early to mid-60. The siren on the front axle is an indication of the time. This is probably designed Carlo Riva boat, with the help of Giorgio Barilani. These boats are built in Sarnico, Italy, as they have been since the 1840s.
Here is a photo of a model 1965.

Like the flag it says it is a Riva. expensive

It looks like an American Chris Craft.

We had a 1946 Chris Craft on Lake Geneva is very similar to it.

I do not think they are building these boats more. They are solid mahogany.

They are called the slipper boats "as they are shaped like a slipper, most are old and cost a fortune if some policy makers still ship to take, but generally, you` ll be found around the Thames or on the shores of the Mediterranean
