Squirrel Dog Toy Does anyone have experience with Hide a Squirrel dog toy? Am I wrong to purchase "A squirrel dog toy Hide"? My shepherd is about 36 pounds, 7 months and she is able to get out awfully fast. The first day I gave it little squirrel's head and he retired in less than 10 seconds each. I bought her a jumbo, because it will push a little more. But I thought it would take some time because she has to "work" for the squirrels. However, she has them out really fast, I'm beginning to think I've become a great??? Sounds like this game was too easy for your GSD. So now, take every squirrel and hide under the pillows on the couch and tell your dog to find them. My GSD loves games like this. Called to hide and seek. I think you should just except that your dog is smart! It is just smart. My border collie has all the squirrels and made tails in a few short seconds. I do not think size would matter, it would have been anyway. Sorry to disappoint you, but I really have not had success with so-called "smart toys for dogs. I'm on my second set of mask a squirrel. I never thought about the amount of time it takes to get the squirrels. My dog catcher and he will shake like crazy sending flying squirrels in the room - then the fun begins, as it pursues and tries to disembowel its prey. She chewed the newspaper before the first round of squirrels. I do not have squirrels, but the bees in a hive. Posted on May 24, 2010.
