Surge Brakes

Surge BrakesHow do you test hydraulic surge brakes on a boat trailer?

I test my fairly regular as simple as I found my boat is back on a hill (steep), I went back one that works very well save the brakes are locked to safeguard the quality and you know that they are working, if you have a pin of backup you must remove the first if you do not then just try your backup of a hill, the pin goes all the coupling in order to save a hill keep the brake work most trailers do not have the pins at all.

Block the wheels so it will not be back. dig a small hole in the hitch. Put a 2x4 in the hole and try to push the coupling to the axel. It should move a little. If it moves a lot, or dosn't move at all they do not work.

After you log in, you can search for skid marks on a gravel road wheels of the trailer.
