Toddler Sleds

Toddler SledsIs it safe to take a sleigh toddler?

This may be obvious to many of you, but I really have no idea. I know there are sleigh toddler, but from what I saw, they look like they are only good to take along. I want to take my 2 year old daughter on a small hill near here while the snow is still fresh. Should she have her own sled? If I go down with it? Does she have a helmet? Help!

Thank you ahead!

I took my sled children because they could barely walk. They love it. Just start with small hills without trees or other obstacles.

Go down with them for beginners. Two may be a bit small to descend alone.

A helmet can be a good idea, but usually exclude warm hats.

We like round discs for snow. Get a good way, work baskets.

Enjoy!

oh yeah, I take mine all the time. Make sure you go on the treeless hills. you can ride on the sled with them if you want or if they are a former child to send down on their own. A helmet is a good idea, but until there are no trees and there is a good layer of snow, they should be fine. They will have a blast.

its ok there, but as said Bellaboo no trees!

Put a helmet on it, and have fun! Let him try his own team, she may love it or hate it. But Have fun and take pictures!

Choosing between your legs and yes, a helmet must be used. So I made my daughters and my grandchildren.

yeh, we took my son last year when he was 2 he loved! Good luck and have fun!

BTW i wouldnt go alone DWN I would go back with

I went down with her when she is not afraid. Regarding having a helmet as long as there are not many trees around, it should be safe. The snow is softer than you think. I have a child of 4 years and still likes people down with him its more fun for us both.

Definitely a great winter time with your daughter. Helmets are becoming more common for children here (Boston), because of several serious head injuries to children chattering in the trees. I would ride on a sled or coaster with it, especially since you have to lug whatever went back down. The best place is gone when children have been little in primary school because he had a slope not easy and convenient traffic. Now we go to the local country club because the hills are great, but there are no barriers to crash. The security issue we've ever had is with feral children who collided with everyone. I am sure you have a great time - also, if you live near a ski slope, sometimes they really hose you get up in your tube.

We just bought a regular sled Wal-Mart has been big enough to be my husband or me to go with him. When he wanted to go himself, I stood at the bottom of the hill and serve. I had to show him how to push down the hill, but it did not crack the head open.

When he was 3, my husband and I took him to a ski resort snow tubing. It was a blast! He had so much fun to do. We were not allowed to descend the hill on two tube, but the tubes have strings attached to them. Then we went down the hill slowly and held onto the rope so as not to escape us.

They toddlers all the different types and thats great but they will not use it for long. I take my son with me, which is one down small hills and he loves it. It lasts much longer than me. Am sure that your child will love it too, they are not too young. Make sure they are wrapped
