Wooden Swing Set Plans

I am amazed at the price of a wooden swing. Women and children are all on me to buy one. I thought for a kit, then the wood of the local lumber yard could work, but even the kits are fairly high price. plastic swings, slides, a bunch of screws, and plans are expected to cost hundreds of dollars, should they?

If you were in my place and have an interesting story / solution, I'm all ears.

Look in the newspapers too. PPL are still having garage sales and things are sold. Do it! Or even try.
